Sleepy Saturday Mornings

Sleepy Saturday Mornings

So my typical Saturday morning usually consists of sleeping in, catching up on my favorite TV shows & browsing the internet catching up on some reading.  But living in a small college town, Saturdays are bustling with people at our local farmers market.  The weather has been surprisingly warm for the end of February, so it’s pretty typical for everybody in town to get up early and go for a stroll to the farmers market.  Seeing as I live (almost literally) across the street from the market, you would think that I would frequent it every weekend.  However, I tend to not be a morning person when it comes to being surrounded with people.  So today I decided to switch things up and stopped by, grab a tea and a bundle of fresh flowers. DSCN0943These fresh white roses (one of my favorites) were a steal at just $4.99 so I had to grab them.  I threw them in with my left over hydrangeas from last week to create a pretty, crisp white bouquet.  There’s just something about fresh flowers that make any room complete.DSCN0947After my short venture to the market, I decided to try out this new sheet mask I snagged at Target the other night.  I’ve really been into the whole sheet mask hype lately (anyone who’s been on the fence on trying one, you really should ,they are amazing!) so what better way to start my Saturday than with a detox mask to freshen up my skin. DSCN0940Another great little start to the weekend is with some fresh new lipstick.  I am a total lipstick fiend but I haven’t been able to find a liquid one that I really like.  This Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick is my first & I’m really excited to try it outside of the store.  I’ve always been a Stila fan so I’m certain I wont be disappointed.DSCN0949What are some of your favorite Saturday Morning routines that kick start your weekend? I’d love to hear what makes your Saturday special!
